LOUISVILLE, KY - The East Market District is pleased to announce the NuLu Tornado Relief Charity Shopping Event. East Market retailers and restaurants are pulling together to raise money and awareness for the tornado relief efforts in Henryville, Indiana. Local businesses will open their doors and their hearts to make generous donations to the Dare to Care: Tornado 2012 fund. Donations range from 5 percent? to 40perent of the total sales for Friday's event. The more you buy, the more NuLu donates!
Participating retailers and restaurants include Red Tree, Swanson Reed Contemporary, Peace of the Earth, Scout, Ghyslain, Revolver, Garage Bar, Gift Horse, Bluegrass Green Co, Bodega, Barry Wooley Designs, Flo, Hudson Home, Harvest, Cake Flour, Taste Fine Wines & Spirits, Market Street Barbers, and more! The family-friendly and open-to-the-public NuLu Tornado Relief Charity shopping event will take place on Friday, March 9th, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. along East Market Street.
